- “Morden Blush is a pastel member of the super-hardy Parkland rose family bred at the Morden Experimental Station in Canada. Yet this Northern-born honey performs nicely in milder climates, too. The rounded bushy plant clad with medium green leaves bears lots of ruffled pink flowers with an old-fashioned charm. --- “Morden Blush” at https://www.weeksroses.com/product/morden-blush/roses
- “Henry Marshall (1916-1994) was preceded by Bert Harp as rose breeder at the Morden Research Station. Harp left no breeding stock, so Marshall began at Morden in 1970 with plants from a line based on Rosa arkansana. He had developed this line at the Brandon, Manitoba research station. 'Assiniboine' and 'Cuthbert Grant' were two of his early successes, and Marshall used these repeatedly and to good effect in his years of breeding roses at Morden.” --- “Marshall, Henry H.” at https://www.helpmefind.com/gardening/l.php?l=7.6344
